Life Membership
At the Club's 2019 - 2020 AGM, two long serving members received Life Membership awards for outstanding contribution to Putney Tennyson Bowling Club - those being John McWilliam and Ronald Rust.
John McWilliam had been a long term Director of the Club; he was President of the Board from 1993 - 2000 and then President of the Men's Bowling Club 2002 - 2007.
John won several bowling club championships - his achievements include 2009 Fours winner, 2010 Triples winner, 2012 Minor Singles runner up.
Ronald Rust has been a long serving member over the last 40 years and his mother Jean was a founding member. Ron served on the Board as a Director for over 15 years and now attends to maintenance around the clubhouse, while serving as Vice-President of the Bowls Group.
Ron has also displayed his bowling skills on the greens with club championship achievements: 2004 Minor Singles winner, 2005 Triples winner, 2008 Pairs winner, 2011, 2012, 2013 Triples runners up, 2012 & 2019 Fours winner, 2014 & 2020 Major Singles runners up, 2016 Pairs runners up, 2016, 2017 & 2019 Triples winner.
